Cumberland County, Maine Inmate Search

Inmate searches in Cumberland County are typically conducted online to locate inmates and retrieve booking data, including the inmate’s personal information, arrest details, confinement information, charge/offense description, and available bond details. However, there are different kinds of jail facilities in the county. Hence, performing an inmate search depends on the channels and public resources provided by a facility or the agency operating it.

For instance, the Sheriff’s Office, which runs the Cumberland County Jail, offers an online inmate locator that lists current inmates and provides tools for users to perform inmate searches. On the other hand, the Maine Department of Corrections offers an online search tool to find adult residents in any state-run jail, including the Maine Correctional Center located in Cumberland County.

Inmate Search by Jail Facility

In Cumberland County, there is no central government database or public tool that provides information on individuals held in both county and state-run correctional facilities. Hence, individuals can only locate an inmate using tools provided by the agency that manages each specific facility.

To find persons in the Cumberland County Jail, use the Sheriff’s Office inmate locator/roster. On the other hand, use the MDOC’s inmate search tool to find inmates in the Maine Correctional Center.
